You will also gain the expertise to develop a solid business plan and prepare to sell your culinary creations in a retail environment.

Determining how your business will actually run will ultimately help you succeed. During this workshop, you will learn how to develop a day-to-day food business operations plan that includes:
•Specific revenue goals
•How much product to prepare for each farmers market or event
•Where and when to purchase supplies
•Creating a food preparation, production and packaging process
•Developing a food safety plan
•Tracking business progress through online tools like Quickbooks

The course will also cover how and when to hire employees and the importance of customer service and relationship building.
